About Me
The year 2022 was a proud career milestone, marking two successful decades in dentistry since I graduated from the University of Birmingham.
During that time, I’ve never stopped pushing myself to continue learning and be the best clinician I can be: I gained membership in the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (MFGDP) from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. I then completed the royal college’s diploma in restorative dentistry in 2011 and returned to gain an advanced certificate in bone grafting in 2013.
I’ve also trained internationally in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry and gained qualifications in sedation.
Changing lives and restoring confidence
All of this means I’ve been able to provide life-changing implants for patients who thought they might never smile again. Some had been told by other clinicians that poor jaw health meant they weren’t suitable candidates for treatment and were helped by bone augmentation or sinus-lift procedures. Others were too anxious or nervous to seek treatment but overcame their fears after being introduced to sedation dentistry.
Changing lives and restoring confidence in this way has been the greatest privilege of my career.
I now enjoy passing on the lessons and experience of two decades in practice as a certified mentor for Straumann—the world leader in implant technology. It’s my way of ensuring the life-changing procedure reaches as many deserving patients as possible.
